Your all full of it.
I get ragged on all the time because of a bunch of internet players like you all want a decision in 10 or 20 seconds. Funny thing is I am one the winningest players in my group. If I am in a decision for all or most of my chips or cash I am gonna think it out. I bet you all like 15 min blinds with 1,500 chipstacks also. |

OK, so please tell me how long it would take you to make action on the situation presented in the OP. You have no pair, no draw, EP betting into you with an overcard on the board. Seriously, how long?

We had another home game a week ago and the 'thinking' player didn't take a ridiculously long time to make decisions. Hopefully this will continue into the future.

Well then you posted to the wrong thread because I was talking about a player that takes a ridiculously long time to act when facing a no brainer.
I guess you also missed the point where I advocated cutting slack to a player when he was facing a legitamately tough decision. Bottom line, I still say a clock is for wusses. Speak up; airing it out will lead to the solution quicker. |
