Re: How to Bet on Baseball Correctly
[ QUOTE ]
Cutter over at Fezziksplace has posted a lot about taking dogs on the +1.5 runline, I'll certainly be looking at doing that a lot this year. [/ QUOTE ] A lot of my action is taking the runs on dogs. I have posted a lot in the past on this. I strongly believe this is th only way to bet runlines. I believe there is a lot of psychology involved as well and that the real chumps and suckers like to lay the runs. These are the guys you want to be opposite of. Anyway that run comes into play a lot more often than the typical/casual chalk chaser ever wants to believe. The books know this and prices are usually juicy. |

Re: How to Bet on Baseball Correctly
If you bet under on every National Leauge game when the price is 9 or higher (excluding Colorado Home games). You will win money. You have to bet every game for the same amount and you have to bet every time the situation arises no matter how you feel about it. THIS WINS !!!! Look it up....

Re: How to Bet on Baseball Correctly
Does anyone have a crosswalk between line and runline?
If the line is +120 for a road dog, what is the breakeven on the runline? What if it is the home team? Also, is there anyone who has a database of all games for 2-3 years and closing line and closing runline? Covers only has the moneyline. thanks |

Re: How to Bet on Baseball Correctly
Everyone is hyping the dogs, and I understand why, BUT...
I bet chalk all season long. Most of my plays are in the -101 to the -150 range, and they hit. The dogs are cheaper, but there is money in betting the favorites too. It's all about finding the right spot. I would never sell runs. |
