Re: 2/4 i make a ridiculous fold
overfloaters, for your assumption to be true, the villain would have to say I have 22-KK and I will go to the felt with you when I hit my set and when I dont hit my set. I hope you were joking like Big Jim said

Re: 2/4 i make a ridiculous fold
There was an error. His flop aggression was 22. His overall aggression was like 7.5 or something (still pretty damn high).
I think checking the flop is a good idea in retrospect. |

[ QUOTE ] um...guys...it's very easy to be insanely aggro when you only play JJ+. that being said, I would not be surprised to see QQ/JJ here. he decides to trap preflop, get's pissed that a K hit the board, but thinks he's still good often so he raises. AK is another fairly likely possibility. what's his TURN aggression? a guy this tight will of course be aggro preflop and on the flop. does he slow down on the turn, though? [/ QUOTE ] lol. yeah qq/jj plays like this from this guy. ok. [/ QUOTE ] You kinda sound like a moron. You don't have a good enough read to make the clear play, yet you dismiss him so easily. |

I just skimmed this thread, and it seems like the case that a lot of you are putting villain squarely on a set. You do realize villain can only flop a set 1/8 times right? Given that, we should definitely be felting this everytime since we are ahead 7/8 times. I did a quick ev calc as follows: AA vs set = -100bb (disregard redraw because we have 2 outs , so this is a rough estimate only) aa vs nonset = +700bb [-100]+[+700] = +600bb Felting aa here has a positive ev of +600bb [/ QUOTE ] HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAHAHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA U R A RTRD. |

Re: 2/4 i make a ridiculous fold
I hope you realize that it takes eons for aggression factor to converge when you're discussing a guy who never hardly plays a hand. 13% of 400 is 52 hands, and he was the preflop raiser in ~40 of them which means he's usually the one betting the flop. Of the remaining ~12 hands, most of them were probably completing his sb and then either betting or check-folding. Saying that he's obviously going to raise or fold on the flop is retarded because he has already made an unusual play by calling a preflop raise and we have no read of how he plays out hands where he does not have the initiative.
also, plz ban ppl that mess up thread width. thx! |
