my mate who's a geography nut just got totally addicted to this and took about 25 attempts and got a score of 792. on his first go he got something like 4,000, then i couldn't drag the [censored] away from my pc when we were supposed to be going out on the lash (excuse my english slang... lash means going out and getting hammered) . I got 5,000 on my 1st and only go. The thing is though we both agree there is no way anyone could get scores of 1,500ish without at least having a few attempts. Your first go is the only score that counts, any further attempts is just a test of your memory. I'm a little bit disappointed in the lack of honesty in the scores some have stated (which included a mod), especially as i've always regarded most forumists here to be generally very honest.

(I cant wait to read this message back when i'm sober tomorrow... hahaha).. and oh yes, im european, and drunk.

[ QUOTE ]
But what about the rest of the world, for each group, respectively? I submit that Europeans, generally, know more about the rest of the world (America included), than Americans know, generally, about the rest of the world (Europe included).

[/ QUOTE ]

This geographical test is more a test of city density per land area than any political consideration (which is what calling country capitals more important than state capitals is). And picking American state capitals is on the same order as picking European country capitals in that regard. I'm sure Europeans picking state capitals would produce roughly the same results as Americans picking European country capitals.
