What a sad state of affairs. I must admit, I've had a few hands that I've been desperate to Showdown, but not at the expense of bets. For the love of god people, the cash comes first !

FWIW, that guy's opponents had a six-high flush draw and a pair of eights on a three-OC board. So if he had bet the flop, they would have folded. But that doesn't make it right not to bet, nor to value-call with a royal freakin' flush.
