Default \'Stars .25/.50 Full Ring: Value Bet River?

I thought it was quite likely that villian had a flush draw with the way he was playing it. Should I have bet the river?

How can you have any idea what the villain has?

By the looks of the final pot, you checked the river behind. You should have bet.

bet river, part from that it is fine.

no reads? I dont think you can be immediately putting him on a flushdraw but anyway so no flushdraw came in but you still will get called by other hands that you beat. hell, you often get paid off by an Ace high that cant stand the fact you might have been bluffing. Bet the river.

I would have bet there, probably expecting a fold, but I think there's a fair chance a worse hand than yours will pay you off on the river given this type of board. Did you check because you were worried he had a 4?

Dude. You have an overpair on a board that's pretty raggedy for a pot you open-raised preflop, and nobody's shown a smidgen of a thought that they have you beat. Bet, for Christ's sake.

What am I missing here? If he had ha flush draw, he missed by the river, didn't he? So why not bet?

I think what Defence18 may have been saying is that if he had bet, the Villain would have folded anyway - so it wasnt worth a bet.

This of course is wrong, as Aussie said, you'd get paid off by a LOAD of hands here.
