Re: Queens with Ace on flop. Can I call allin?
your not trying to get anyone to fold. you're valuebetting your QQ and letting the board protect you from a bluff. if i get called i ck the turn, if it gets bet i fold, if it gets ckd i value bet the river. youll be amazed how often you get 77 to put in far more $$ than they expected.

Re: Queens with Ace on flop. Can I call allin?
Interesting thoughts, but I don't like betting out. I think it turns our hand into a bluff and I'm not sure I want to do that. I don't think 77 gives us 2 streets of value if we bet flop and river.
And I don't think that villain will never make a move if we bet out. It's a standard cbet and doesn't show much strength. I wonder how often does a 3bettor have an ace in his hand on average. Anyway, something about villain overbetting the turn on a drawless board made me think he wanted me to fold. So I called and he had J9s Still not sure if it was spew or not. |

I will make such plays only with an ace in my hand, cause people like playing aces a lot.
