lets assume that you were playing queens and they held up. does this chicken dance help or hinder your play afterwards? seems that it may get your blood running more and may effect decisions until your heart is back in rythym. ive always noticed erratic behavior shortly after one does a "dance" in live play.
thoughts about the effects of these antics in the comfort of your living room.... does it calm you down and make you thankful for the life you still have or make you more fearless? |

watching flops is boring. Whenever I go all in, I usually read 2+2 or digg or somethin. Then I either hear the sound that I have been eliminated(annoying sound), or a new hand pops up on my screen. i only watch flops at final tables, cuz they're kinda important. NOT, dude i sweat out every pot I am all in

I've been multi-tabling a lot recently with cascaded tables I hardly ever see any bad beats or showdowns.. the tables are popping up too fast

When im playing its usual dueling hu sngs. So whenever i get all in or my opponent all in i just minimize the table and wait to either see "Congrats you won/lost the tourney" Thing that pops up or till my table pops itself back up. I've realized i can keep my emotion in check a lot more if i dont see rivers hitting and whatnot esp in flip situation where i had say ak and flop the ace the get spiked on the riv by a pp. I know it doesn't matter what order they come up but its still a brutal thing to see happen so id rather just blindly get the result. Definitly helped me to play better lately.

I do similar things in marginal or bluff situations - usually when I know I shouldn't really have done it in the first place. I don't close the window but I often focus on the other table I'm playing. It's kind of cowardly but serves a useful function - it lowers my adrenaline levels and makes it more of an "i don't care I can't control it anyway" thing which hopefully wards off tilting a bit. [/ QUOTE ] Very nice, I do exactly this. |
