I assumed the waiter didn't actually have the pills on him, rather he ran to one of his pharmacy buddies and he got them there. Also Xanax bars are not pills in the traditional sense, the are skinny little bars about 3/4 inch long, they are made this way bc most ppl just take small pieces of a bar at a time (they are segmented in quartes)
