Aba, why wouldn't have have, say, 9T or any other straight draw + pair combo here? I mean i guess he Q is if he checks a straight here in the first place, but if he does, are't there a lot more combo's than the ones you mentioned?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes you are correct there are, but for some reason it didn't register that a T made a straight when posting.

I think very important here is how much you have been limping preflop and how he has been responding. Lots of TAGs just don't respect the limp at all, and will raise with hands like T9, T8s etc.

Good point Dean. Generally i am pretty active preflop and raise a lot. A few hands ago, there was a pot where i raised preflop with AQ, he called. He c/r me on a Q82 flop with a flush, bet 750 on the turn, and i made it 2200. He called and check folded to my shove after a river blank. After these types of hands, he tends to re-raise more liberally preflop, and his standard re-raise is pop my $100 raise to $575. That is why i limped here, anticipating a raise a decent amount of the time. He can definitly he raising T9, T8, both suited and offsuit. I don't know where the line is drawn exactly, but he will definitly have pop those hands preflop after i limp more when he is losing. But in general, i have not been limping much at all.
