[ QUOTE ]
I am really bored so I'm gonna rank the FT team in terms of baller-ness on the site...

Phil Ivey
A winner in all the biggest games. Some of the big online NL players don't want to give him respect, but the results clearly show he beats the biggest NL games, and that says enough in itself... ignoring the widely-held belief that he is the best mixed game player.

Gus Hansen
This is a pretty big drop from Ivey, obviously. Gus isn't as good as his TV image makes the public think and is looked at as a complete fish when he sits in the NL games online, but he's still a mainstay in the biggest games, and is likely in the black because of his really good PLO results.

John Juanda
Seems to enjoy playing the big O8 games and occasionally NL. I've gained more respect for him to see him play the big games online and that he's not just a donkament specialist.

Allen Cunningham
It looks to me like he ran pretty badly in the late summer 2006 when the big games started running on FT, but the fact that he was willing to play all of the games and is very respected by his peers says a lot.

Mike Matusow
Degenerate gambler and big donator in the 25/50 through 100/200 NL games, but you still gotta give him some credit for having a pretty respected O8 game... I suppose.

See them once in a blue moon, not enough to say much about
Jen Harman - Saw her playing 1K/2K O8 on about two occassions, non-existant in the online world otherwise.
Erik Seidel - Apparently he plays SNGs on the occassion?
Phil Gordon - Same as above
Clonie Gowen - I seriously don't think I've seen her play anything but the .5/1 NL game she is assigned to.

Do they still play poker?
Howard Lederer
Chris Ferguson
Andy Bloch (why the heck is he on the main Full Tilt team?)

[/ QUOTE ]

Dont think they can be ranked much differently.

I'll just add that some of the holdem stats that have been posted here have been combined limit and nl, so Ivey absolutely killing it sometimes has a lot to do with his great limit results.
But just a great allaround player obviously who when he has played them have also been killing the new mixed games.

Gus until recently ranked plo as one of his worst games and eventhough his numbers sometimes explode upwards in plo, like in december and this year so far, I think overall mostly he has been struggling. His good numbers are more due to his very aggressive O8 game. Where I think he is quite underrated.
He has been doing well in the mixed games too. NL I think he only plays when bored.

Both Cunningham and Seidel lost pretty big when the games started and have rarely been seen back since.

This one's obnoxious and overrated. .5/1 is probably where she belongs.

lee watkinson plays a lot of low stakes cash and mtts, lederer has played the sunday major more than a few times but thats the only thing he plays if he ever plays, jennifer harmon plays the 1k/2k stud and stud8 every so often, lindgren plays high limit cash occasionally, rob mizrachi plays a decent amount of 25/50 and 10/20, the hendon mob guys don't play that much but they are around here and there, a lot of the pros play regularly u just have to look in places other than the big games on ftp

I don't even play on the site, but the handful of times I logged on to spot pros I saw:

Matusow, Juanda, Ivey, Cunningham, Seidel, Gowen, Lindgren, Hansen, Zolotow, Seed, (Berry) Johnston, Bloch, Vaswani, (Gavin) Smith, D'Agostino, and probably a few other smaller names.

The only players prominently used in their ads that I’ve never seen are: Harman, Lederer, Gordon, and Ferguson.

I've also seen both Bloch and Gowen open one that 'chat with a pro' room they have, although I didn't really bother to enter it. Mostly the pros ignore chat when playing and--if you've ever read the dumb [censored] the railbirds type when Matusow's on--you can understand why.

Bloch, Seidel, and Gowen are also probably the only pros from what I've who play smaller stakes games with any frequency. So in general, no, you can't really play with the pros unless you have a pro bankroll. No matter what the commercial suggests you aren't going to log on and play heads-up with Phil Ivey, not unless you're willing to risk tens of thousands of dollars.

Am I the only one who doesn't see whats so great about sitting at the same table as any of these big names? I mean, I guess its different for many of us here since we consider ourselves great players as well and it would be cool for the very casual player to sit with them...but I dunno, maybe in person I would find it cool but online they're just another graphic on your screen.

I don't think I've ever seen an expression on Ivey's avatar. Cool.

Just imagine what it is like to play with all those very casual players who just want to play with the pro. That's what is so great about playing with the pros. You have fish who are too busy trying to chat with the pro to pay as much attention as they can to the hand, but at the same time, they want to impress the pro by doing something stupid, so while they still make mistakes by cold calling an early position raise with any ace or with KJo, they start folding hands like 85s and become more predictable and readable. Some of them won't do any fancy bluffs because they don't want to look stupid, although a few will try to put on moves so they can show off their cool bluffs and impress the pro (but those players are easy to bluff). Many bad players at the table more than compensate for one good player at the table, especially if he is playing at lower stakes than usual and doesn't care as much.

I used to play against Seidel on almost a daily basis in HORSE SNGs. I've played against Lederer once or twice as well in a small SNG. Also played against Bloch, Dags and I think Cunningham in a small PLO game.
