Default So like 90% of the Full Tilt Pros never play there huh

I've been playing on FT for a few months now. I've seen Gus Hansen, Mike the Mouth, John Juanda, Phil Ivey, John D'Agostino, and one time Gavin Smith. Thats it. Where is everybody else? Lederer, Ferguson, Harmon, and all the rest are just sucking up endorsements but never seem to get around to playing. I saw Moneymaker, Raymer and Hachem alot more on Stars. I think the FT pros are mostly shirking their responsibilities, and the "learn, chat and play with the pros" is mostly a bunch of crap.

Am I missing something or is the FT marketing campaign quite misleading?

i dont think you're looking very hard - pretty much entire 'b team' plays there often (brodie, johnston, seed, chiu, de wolfe, cernuto, etc)

Lederer is busy with his executive job, from what I understand. Ferguson is in the middle of some bet about going from zero to some number like 10K, so you will find him mostly in small buy-in tournaments when he plays, usually after 10PM EST. He was playing a lot of freerolls for a while. Jennifer Harman recently had twins via surrogate mother, didn't she?

A lot of the big names play smaller stakes or play chip tables when they do show up. Are you checking there? I know that Phil Gordon and Erik Seidel tend to play more SNGs when they do play, popping in here and there for a random table. I think they are also hit and miss and will play a lot in a short time period then disappear.

I also think that the WPT boycott has probably made them less inclined to play as a lot of the names would play online in the airport or after busting out of a tournament. A guy like Howard Lederer may prefer to spend him extra home time with his family rather than playing online.

I still get pissed off when I go into a bar and don't see Moneymaker throwing cash around. I understand how FTP can be deemed misleading since you can learn from the pros, you can chat with the pros, but the pros just don't slum down often enough to play against.

So almost all thier pros play just not 3 of them on a daily basis. Lets cry. They play a lot more than the 3 big "pros" on stars. Dags normally goes like on 5 hours sessions, Hansen is on all the time and ivey pops in on occasion. Just because three of them don't play no reason to get upset.

Lederer and Ferguson have already been mentioned, but what's with Phil Gordon and Erik Seidel being non-existant as well?

I am really bored so I'm gonna rank the FT team in terms of baller-ness on the site...

Phil Ivey
A winner in all the biggest games. Some of the big online NL players don't want to give him respect, but the results clearly show he beats the biggest NL games, and that says enough in itself... ignoring the widely-held belief that he is the best mixed game player.

Gus Hansen
This is a pretty big drop from Ivey, obviously. Gus isn't as good as his TV image makes the public think and is looked at as a complete fish when he sits in the NL games online, but he's still a mainstay in the biggest games, and is likely in the black because of his really good PLO results.

John Juanda
Seems to enjoy playing the big O8 games and occasionally NL. I've gained more respect for him to see him play the big games online and that he's not just a donkament specialist.

Allen Cunningham
It looks to me like he ran pretty badly in the late summer 2006 when the big games started running on FT, but the fact that he was willing to play all of the games and is very respected by his peers says a lot.

Mike Matusow
Degenerate gambler and big donator in the 25/50 through 100/200 NL games, but you still gotta give him some credit for having a pretty respected O8 game... I suppose.

See them once in a blue moon, not enough to say much about
Jen Harman - Saw her playing 1K/2K O8 on about two occassions, non-existant in the online world otherwise.
Erik Seidel - Apparently he plays SNGs on the occassion?
Phil Gordon - Same as above
Clonie Gowen - I seriously don't think I've seen her play anything but the .5/1 NL game she is assigned to.

Do they still play poker?
Howard Lederer
Chris Ferguson
Andy Bloch (why the heck is he on the main Full Tilt team?)

Chris Ferguson is on the play money tables about 3 times a month with waitlists in the 100's and I've seen Andy Bloch play some of the HORSE MTT's and such often around late summer.

I've seen Andy Bloch playing a lot of low buy in Tournaments. Mostly in non Holdem games.
