Why the hell did they fire Shula anyway? I'm not that familiar with the situation, but didn't he get them to 10-2 last year despite being on probation?

So other than Mora and Martz, who is out there for Miami? Think they might just promote Capers? He was absolutely awful in Houston.

I think it is prop bet time,
Who would like to set the odds that Saban will not last the entire 10 years of his original contract at Bama? What are the odds that he will not last 5 years? I don't think anyone who does not live in Alabama can grasp the pressure the Alabama fans put on the coach to win. Anyone who likes sports talk and doesn't believe this should listen to Paul Finebaum, you can get him on the net at finebaum.com. The show is gold for the comedic value of the redneck UA fans alone. Almost 1 year ago to the day, Mike Shula signed a new 5 year contract. Can't beat Auburn = lose your job. Say what you will but I am almost certain if Shula had beaten AU this year he would still be the coach. That being said, Saban's record against AU is 2-3. See you on the Plains next year Nick.
