I don't think I'm betting this turn very often and doubt I'm putting any money in on the river. Against these types of villains I like c/c the river because I'd hate to call a raise on an overpaired board with a pp.

[/ QUOTE ]

Given OP's read betting every street here is good IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, if you are going with the read then the river is a b/f. If these guys were taking swings at every pot on every street then it's an easy call, but if I'm remembering the read they aren't getting out of line enough to think they are raising this river with 4th pair.

[/ QUOTE ]

Given the read i would bet/fold both the turn and river with a raise and cold call.

My usual play on a board like this is betting the turn and c/c the river inducing bluffs or bets of worse pairs.

This is pretty similar to the TT hand I just posted. You have to fold here if your reads are worth anything.

Yeah, I agree. The question is, are reads worth anything against these players? Am I beaten more often than 1 time in 12?

This approach is particularly bad against these kinds of opponents.

Inevitably you only get money in the pot when you're losing.

Given the raise and the call. Yes, you are behind that much.
