Both villains are loose/passive with VP$IP>60% and rarely raise pre- or post flop. They have consistently been calling down to river whenever they got one small piece of the flop, any pocket pair or a lone pocket A. I haven't caught anyone trying to bluff.

I fold. The pot is 13bb's and your not seeing less than an ace here in two places often enough to call. If this was the one time in a thousand that someone bluffs and gets overcalled by a hand worse than yours so be it.

If your read is right you're never winning.

Call. Big pot. Well, at .25/50 it's not a big pot. Maybe fold.

I'd consider it a pretty big pot since there's like 15 bets in it.
I'd still fold though. |

I don't think I'm betting this turn very often and doubt I'm putting any money in on the river. Against these types of villains I like c/c the river because I'd hate to call a raise on an overpaired board with a pp.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, if you are going with the read then the river is a b/f. If these guys were taking swings at every pot on every street then it's an easy call, but if I'm remembering the read they aren't getting out of line enough to think they are raising this river with 4th pair. |

They can't call down with anything if you don't bet.

They can't call down with anything if you don't bet. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, that's the reason I take the direct betting route rather than having checked rounds all the way to the river. On the flop and turn i think that they would have raised me (even tho they're very passive) with a 3d A. ETA: On the other hand, is the pot big enough to call and see? |
