Default 2 Suggestions.........

Lee,

Your site programmers will probably go into anaphalactic shock with these, but.......

Bounty Button - Have a bounty button that players can click that would put them in a voluntary "Bounty Pool". All players that select participation would have their ID backlit in a noticeably different color.

Las Longer Bets - Same idea, but a last longer pool.

Some ideas nobody mentioned so far (read most of the posts, but might have missed some though):

Bonuses: I hardly keep any cash at Netteller for safety reasons (don´t want to have to check my Netteller account every day, and there were postings about accounts being hacked before on 2+2). Therefore I deposit new money via Credit Card. If I do transfer $600 (or last time 2k for the big bonus) on Stars via credit card and play the needed amount of games to clear the bonus, I can cash out the money back to my credit card again. This usually takes about a day for me, but is definetly always within a month. So I can usually transfer the money back after 48hrs after the deposit. I assume that Stars has to pay a fee to Visa, and I know for a fact that everytime I do this I recieve less money (in euro) than I payed (in euro). This is not really a big deal, but I have to pay a fee of about € 20 to recieve $ 120, and Stars probably had to pay a fee of something like 3.5% as well. SOLUTION: If Stars says that players who have a certain status (Gold Star? Platinum? Supernova?) do recieve the max. bonus anyway (without a deposit), as long as they will play the amount needed to get the bonus if they had made the deposit, Stars has several advantages:

- No fees for Stars
- No fees for non US players who pay via credit card
- A very good idea from a marketing point of view, since this would be something that Stars really seperates from the other sites (to my limited knowledge this is)
- An additional incentive for players to make the next step (up to a Gold Star, Platinum...) and therefore more action (=rake for Stars) from these players

Disadvantages:

- There might be some players who don´t care about the bonus and Stars would have to pay them automatically if this sytem was used. (probably very few)
- It would cost something to change to software
- A little less money on the accounts => less interests for Stars (probably no serious amount in regards to the combined interests from of all the accounts)

The sunday tournament (1 million guaranteed) starts at quite a horrible time for european players, at least for players who have a 9-5 job. I hardly ever play these events, although I would love to do, since making it close to the money usually means that I go to bed at about 2 a.m.. Of course, if one happens to make a bigger score, it´s not really bad to stay up the for almost the whole night, but obviously this doesn´t happen too often. If the tournament started 1 or 1.5 hrs prior, I (and probably lots of european players more) would much rather play these events. And it still and wouldn´t make that big a difference for the american players.

2-table turbos for each limits that Stars offers as 1-table turbo SnGs. (whats the point of offering them at the 55+5 level, but not at higher ones?)

Best regards

I click on the special tab to see $200+ tournaments, and now they have put a zillion freerolls in. This is as they say retarded.

This has nothing to do with the legislation, and everything to do with their business practices. They hang onto their money like, well, you know, and hurt both their business and the online poker world by doing so.

No, Phil, I don't know. Perhaps you could enlighten me further here, since you've previously implied that you personally know the owners and management of PokerStars quite well.

On this point, they really have to change their bizarre system for irregular blind situations. Like if you’re UTG and the player on your left goes broke, then you move into the small blind without ever having to post a big blind. That is ridiculous. But it’s been ridiculous for five years and they haven’t made any effort to repair it.

Why should someone get the button twice in one round. I hate the dead button system. ONline its a live button. Everyone has the same opportunity to miss a single blind every 50-100 rotations.

My only problem with PokerStars is that cashouts, greater than your deposits, take TOO long...

I'm speaking only about Neteller here because that is the only method I use.

When typing in chat and someone goes all-in as soon as I press enter the chat disappears. Makes it annoying that I have to retype it.

You're not allowed to use computer aids in a live casino, why should you online? Never mind the UIGEA, 12-tabling computer savvy grinders using all the aids are the real threat to the future of online poker.

I see I am not the lone voice in the wilderness.

I play for entertainment. 12 Tabling grinders are not entertaining.
