The chances of you making a big profit by someone posting "go long Feb winter wheat" are very small.

Especially since there's no February contract in Wheat.

so i'm still a student and i'm thinking of trying a virtual trading game. anyways i was just wondering, with such a short scope (40days) of trading time, what sort of strategy should be implemented in order to do well? the markets i can trade in are: United States, Euronext, Frankfurt, London, Milan (for stocks) and just US (for futureS.)

Given the short time frame and "Top Ten or Bust" you need to be long as much volatility as possible. Invest all your money in NYMEX natural gas futures. Long or short, it doesn't matter. Heck, flip a coin. You'll either be on the wrong side and go bust or on the correct side with a very nice profit. Good luck.

i'll consider that, i can only put 50% of my capital into one trade, so taht means i can have two.
