For those of you who want to raise this somewhere? When? How much? And what hands pay off a raise?

I don't think a river shove has any value, it represents a K or what you have, you're only getting called when you're behind. I like a river call.

[ QUOTE ] Meh, call. [/ QUOTE ] N, is this a meh, call, cuz i cant fold, or meh, call, because I dont think a shove has any value? [/ QUOTE ] I call, because it fits his range and the odds that we have. Raising is far too thin against hands we get value from and the ones that beat us. So I'm saying there ARE hands that call a raise that we beat, like Kx diamonds and K9, but we're also *paying* money to hands we lose to a bunch, making raising certainly -EV. Hands like 4x, 22, 99, KK. But on the other hand we shouldn't fold because of hands like missed diamonds, 9x, total air, the afore-mentioned K9,Kx diamond, TT+, etc. |

meh, i guess, reads would help. FDs obviously continue but i think the average player at 1/2 correctly folds 9x and most PPs to a raise on this flop
edit: that is, most players either decide to c/c with PPs/9x or b/f, not b/c. |
