Re: Bet turn with AA?
On the turn BB got like 138 left or something. He is never going to call here with a lone pocket pair for nearly a pot sized push. People cold call raises with sc a ton. If we're afraid of losing value we still got river, if he checks then a push is fine, if he bets like half pot probably call, if he push i'm thinking fold.
To the people who are saying bet turn everytime, please elaborate as I am in no way seeing any benefit of doing so. |

Re: Bet turn with AA?
It is a REraised pot. Only the fishest of fish cold calls with sc. And if he is such a big fish your AA is way ahead of his range that he will call your bet with.
If he's not a fish your still ahead of the range he will call with, that is why you push. And you want to protect your hand against random hearts. |

Re: Bet turn with AA?
Mmm perhaps they're not calling as much as I think with sc. Oh well, still I'm not convinced that BB will call with only a pocket pair though, perhaps that is why my winrate atm can be counted on 2 fingers.

Re: Bet turn with AA?
Bet more on the flop, I might even push given the pot size and preflop action.
You want action from other overpairs (and you will get it), and you do not want to let a scare card come that will kill that. If he has a five or 33, he made a bad preflop call and I am fine paying him off. Basically, if the guy is calling $40 on this blank flop, he's calling a lot more. |
