But how reliable is that read? And are you willing to risk folding the winner in a 15BB pot for one bet because of it? I think this river decision is very close. If it's a fold, it's not by much.

It is never going to be "by much" when the pot is that big.

You're never good here though. They would both have to be putting in two bets on the river with spades lower than 9 for your hand to be good. This is just one of those situations where calling is throwing away most of a big bet even with the pot that big.
