10/20 game. I am in BB . Live on a Loose Passive table
UTG- Only in his first round of cards for the day. looks uncomfortable and unsure of himself in every situation. MP- young kid who will fold a good hand. Too passive to win, but plays well Pre-flop. Checks and calls way too often. I have Js10s No raises, I see flop of ks6s8s for free. I check, UTG bets, MP raises, I re-raise; both call 9h on turn- I bet, 2 callers 2s on river.- I bet, utg raises, button calls What should I do? I think the only question here is the river, if anyone here sees a misplay before that- bring it to me, if not just a river comment is fine. |

I would prefer to bet out on the flop because I believe it tends to not reveal your hand as much, but I don't feel strongly about this,& I may not be correct.
On the river,I believe that bet/fold is preferable to check/ call.If you check & it checks around, you have missed a bet with the best hand.Looks like an easy fold because given your description of your opponents,it looks like they BOTH have the As. |

Fold river; bet the flop. I'd usually raise this preflop, depends on how many limpers we got but as a default I'd say that I'm raising more often than I'm checking.

Pretty good chance you are in 3rd place. Turbo muck.

Getting 15:1 with the third nuts, I'm not that sure it's an easy fold on the river.
Like the others I agree with betting the flop. If it gets checked through, a spade could kill your action anyway. Another possible river line is checking and folding for 2 bets, but cry-calling for one. I think LP's call here doesn't mean he's beating us. For him it could be a crying call with a straight. Who knows what the bad player is raising. I grant that it looks bad for us, but it seems like 15:1 is too enticing for me to call with the third nuts. |

I actually think check-folding might be slightly better if you're facing two, but you lose some value from a lower spade+pair and 2pr/set hands, so I'm cool with the betfold. Rob |

If button is the same player as MP (as it seems), then why would he raise the flop next to act after the bettor, shutting Hero out, if he had the lone As or Qs? If you're on a flush draw, it's a bad play to blow away the field to get heads up with a hand that's currently beating you and might 3-bet you.
