Re: Best Sports Cars under 50k?
A corvette z06, nissan z350, cooper s, bmw m3, any lotus.
I don't get it though why get such a fast car in the U.S. where you can't drive fast anyways. I would just get one of those big trucks, I love driving a x5 too, you just get a good view up there, and I don't feel the need for speed which saves you some tickets A sportscar? I would go for this fella: |

The level of intelligence on this auto forum is retarded at best. I will chime in later with my recommendations.

Re: Best Sports Cars under 50k?
steam has the right idea. I would get a mk4 supra, or wait for the skyline to come out, should be right at 50k and should be baller. Can't go wrong with the lotus, even a mini cooper s is crazy for handling.
That omni is gangsta though. Even the new vette's are pretty sweet, g35 not bad. Depends on what driving you do and where. Also what you really want out of it. I would get a used m5 as they are 4 door 400ponies just a beast. |

Re: Best Sports Cars under 50k?
Oh please. A G35 is a girls car. Might as well buy a Miata. I'm not a fan at all of the styling but the best bang for the buck, and it's not even close, is the Pontiac GTO. Can be had for $25-28K, maybe even less. If you're willing to go a little used, those trans-am WS6's are super bad ass. Way underrated. After reading a few more of your posts, it sounds like the first thing you definitely should look at is the 300C/Magnum/Charger/Jeep SRT's. They all have the 425hp hemi and can be had nicely equipped for $35k or less. |

Re: Best Sports Cars under 50k?
carbon fiber seats right. I have driven in race seats for a long time, it's not bad, but I have an insane amount of seat time from trips and work so I might be able to handle it. But spending 26k or soemthing like that for a 1600 pound car with a toyota 1.6, I rather build something else, but it's cool none the less.

Not like any of this matters, OP is going to buy a car that he likes regardless of what anyone says; probably the 2nd or third car he sits in, and then look for supporting posts afterwards. C6 is a phenomenal choice. |
