Reraise pre seems fine, his call means something like AK or a pocket pair, so checking the flop is a good idea. Maybe Tens will take a shot on the turn or river and you can catch him. If he checks turn and it gets drawy I'd bet near 3/4 pot and look for a river checkdown unless you hit your kicker and can value bet against AK. As played, fold to check raise, though you could well have induced a bluff when you weren't strong enough by betting pretty small. $21-$24 seems sufficient, if he raises that, then you're def behind and can muck.
