Default PS 100NL AQ TP2K RRed pot

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($109.55)
MP ($102.10)
CO ($105.60)
Hero ($222.20)
SB ($206.05)
BB ($89.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $4, 2 folds, Hero raises to $13, 2 folds, UTG calls $9.

Flop: ($27.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $15, UTG raises to $50, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $92.50

Reads certainly help but he just sat down. My question is obviouly about the flop play. How does the line I took compare to check/call down 2 later streets? Is the flop bet too small?

I think a bet is appropriate on the flop as he probably folds a lot of hands. I would bet more along the lines of 20 dollars though. fold to his raise is standard. gh

i´m not reraising an unknown UTG raiser with AQo there. As played i check the flop though, nothing im afraid off and betting makes it to easy for PPs imo.

Hmm... That's actually a good point. A rr makes the pot too big for TP2K...

Why did you even bet this flop at all? You think you're stacking his pocket pair, or that he has AJ?

As played I fold, he could have AK or just be screwing with you because your bet was so weak but its not worth it to find out.

Also I reraise preflop here a huge percentage of the time.

Well if I check behind him, do I call his turn bet? If i have a read that his turn/river bets tend to be small I might check flop, but I don't...

Checking flop is the standard/best line vs unknown

with history, I'll either bet/call this flop or bet flop with the intention of inducing a bluff by the river
