Seriously, why do you view open pushing as a better option?

[/ QUOTE ]

You're slightly ahead on flop against ranges, and any call they make is a minor mistake with overpairs to the board, given pot sizes. If they don't call, eh, tuck the 11k into your stack. Make sense? You will be given credit for the FD but not the overs by standard players, and they won't recognize the mistake.

Yep, I follow your line except we raised a limper, so we rep'd a decent hand already. Re-visiting this line, A/Broadway [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is not too big a stretch to figure out.

My own reason for pushing is because we don't mind folds and we don't mind calls. Whenever I feel like that, I push.

Yes, I agree, which is why the qualifier about the 11k. This is nearly 50% of our stack, and in a 3R, they're still not folding QQ or KK for that matter.

I'm not wild about openshoving and would rather get a c/r in, even at those stakes, but there's no FE and you bustout if you miss.

I agree 100% with this - FWIW I would open shove any hand I intended to continue to play in this situation because I can't think of a hand on this board where the above doesn't apply that I wouldn't just fold to virtually any bet
