Elevens,

Being elitist about the content of the forum that was expressly designed to be the trash heap of 2p2 is kind of... stupid, yes?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know you tell me? You delete topics there don't you?

Gild,

throw the dice

1 - suspend poster + lock thread
2 - move to oot
3 - throw again
4 - nuke the thread outta here
5 - demand hot pictures from the OP to let it live
6 - let live

If they get 1, they're unlucky, and deserve it anyway for trying to infect us with their bad luck.

there's probably better options here, but I don't care.

[/ QUOTE ]

def. don't think anyone should get suspended / banned for lame threads. that's what makes OOT suck so hard. you stifle creativity by having the threat of [censored] hanging over you.

thread deletes are perfectly acceptable.

banning for way out of line stuff like outlined in the sticky is fine too.

but for a lame thread? nah...... that's what makes BBV mo' betta'

Can someone do me a favor and differentiate in a definition with maybe some examples between "OOT-style threads" and OT threads that we normally have (thread cat).

[/ QUOTE ]

BBV Style - Silly, funny, over-the-top, pure pandemonium.

OOT Style - Trying to be serious, often dull.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT

As a closet BBV fan, I personally miss the berating of donkament players such as myself, and just the 'over-the-top' utter nonsense [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

What do you wear? Puke! 10k replies doesn't make it BBV worthy. You guys are far too sophisticated to entertain the "hmmm, I bet this hasn't been asked in a while"/mind-numbing threads.

if OOT hadn't been [censored] up so bad with horrible modding jobs then there would be a place there for all these awful threads. just because they've ruined their forum, which is designed for the type of crap you're talking about, doesn't mean you should let them clutter ours. to OOT w/ these garbage threads!

[/ QUOTE ]

So because of [censored] up modding OOT has no more awful threads... that make perfect sense.

Isn't this [censored] obvious?

let em ride. Those bloody vaginal belches that pass as mods in oot are going to run it into the [censored] ground with there gaybait arbitrary rules and crap, and BBV can rightly become the number 1 forum round here while OOT shrivels up like a mouse's nuts in a blizzard.

LONG LIVE BBV!

2 - Ban poster from BBV
3 - change title
4 - change avater for 1 month
5 - nuke the thread outta here
6 - let live

[/ QUOTE ]

Or how about, put something like this to a vote in said thread. Except make all the options bad for the poster except let it live. Select winner after a certain number of votes are registered. Can a thread be locked but still allow poll votes? If so, it can be locked until the OP's fate is determined.

Obv., only do this on the really questionable threads.

Uh, no, there wouldn't. [censored] threads are [censored] threads. The problem is that, since there are consequences to posting them in OOT, but not consequences to posting them in BBV, they're being posted in BBV, and are now Gild's problem.

I think you are confused about which forum I was referring to Elevens.

And I'm not not knocking BBV by saying it, I post here fairly often.
