Default What to do with OOT threads

Hey guys,

Just wanted your input on this, something I've been mulling over. People have been posting a bunch of OOT-style threads (post your wallpaper, name ur wardrobe, etc., etc). These don't really have anything to do with, B, B or V unlike some stuff like 'I got a free laptop', 'I have too many parking tickets', etc. which at least has some relation to b,b, and v.

So anyways, putting out a poll here for the next little while...do you guys want these threads moved or do you want to keep them? I have been hesitant to move them because they are so popular but they are basically straight up OOT threads. I have a feeling people post them here because of

-our laxer (yes, even though I am now an overpowering mod jerk we still have lighter posting policies) posting policies, also they know they won't get starred
-people in BBV are generally funnier and less caustic
-they know the BBV community better so why not post it here (i.e. STT threads like 'OT: SKIPPERBOB ATE A SANDWICH AT MY HOUSE')

I am trying to get BBV input as I think it's very important.

So, here are some choices

-removing all off topic threads, period...I would really like to hear your thoughts on this one because it's something that's being considered seriously

-only removing stuff that is completely 100% OOT (NAME YOUR CAT, omg here is a hot girl nsfw, etc)

-keeping it the way it is which is, i.e. keep everything from 'my cat died' posts to 'I HAVE A FAVORITE SONG GUESS WHAT IT IS'

Here is the poll, voting ends when I leave work:

Keep 'OOT-style' posts here by BBV favorites - move ones started by n00bs. Unless they have potential.

if the threads are judged as "bad", might as well delete them, b/c oot probably doesn't want them either.

I think there should be a risk thing for OT threads. I think if you make a crap one you should get a harsh undertitle, or a change of avatar as voted by BBV.
