Re: middle limit poker in LV/L.A.
[ QUOTE ]
I just got back from Vegas and the Bellagio's 15/30 was fairly soft Thursday and Sat nights. The regulars in that game are pretty poor and a couple of bad out-of-towners made it even better. [/ QUOTE ] Well, I played in the 15 on thursday, and there were an average of 2.5 to the flop, with small pots and every hand was raised preflop. I'm too weak tight probably as was a lady to my right, but it seemed like a table full of HEFAP disciples. Maybe I suck, but I don't see how to get much cash (or fun) out of that type of table. Was I at the wrong table? Maybe I should have tried again fri or sat. Ethan |

No, it's just that the "Vegas is so soft" line is overhyped. I've come across a few soft tables but I've also come across plenty of tables like yours.
