Does anyone actually use the Yahoo rankings? I've found them to be completely skewed in favour of 3-pointers in the past. Could be wrong, but for example right now they have Brand ranked 6th (that's way too high given his current production) and Kirilenko ranked 28th.

On Martin - no doubt he's playing well. But he's still an unproven player in the long term. Why not trade him for someone that has a good track record and you know what you'll get all year.

yahoo ranking definitely favors 3 pointers way too much. espn player rater is decent, but doesnt include TOs so you have to adjust accordingly. its also not free anymore so you need the crap insider.

thedudeabideas, what would you take straight up for kevin martin right now that you think you could get. just throw a couple of diff names out. i have him also so im just curious.

Yeah....I was def overlooking the shooting percentages. But I would much rather sacrifice 6-8 ppg and grab a guy who's taking in 5-6 more boards and getting a few blocks.

Ignoring whatever needs you may have, I think people are so shortsighted that they would trade him for players like:

Andre Miller
Tony Parker (although he's been on fire lately)
Caron Butler
Ben Wallace

It really depends on what you need. I'm a big fan of trading players right after they blow up and have a huge game to maximize value. I also think you could package Martin with another mid-tier player to get a bonafide superstar.

look i'm sorry but there is no reason for carlos arroyo, raja bell and rudy gay to be on anyone's team in any 8 man league unless you have 17 person benches. please just dump them asap and find someone who doesn't suck.
