The flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG +1 bets 500, CO calls 500, Hero winks at the blonde and raises to 2510. UTG +1 calls 2010, CO calls 2010.

Turn- 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG + 1 checks, CO checks, Hero checks.

River- 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG +1 checks, CO bets t5000, Hero?

My check on the turn, be it the right play or not, was based on a few things. First, I don't think I can shut out CO with a bet if hes drawing, as hes already shown his stubborness on the flop. It also saves money when it turns out CO was slowplaying something on the flop.

On the river, one of the scare cards hit, a heart. I'm now behind the flush draw and the slowplay on the flop. The only hand I beat here is a busted straight draw thats making a play on the river, or maybe a few more hands given Villains wild nature. Thoughts? Fold? Call?

so the only reason you dont raise the flop is because your afraid of a 3bet?

sort of, but it's more like 'you're not really much ahead of most people that like their hands enough to call a raise, but just in case you are *and he just calls rather than 3 bets you off the pot*, enjoy trying to figure out which draw they have after one hits.' It's actually way easier to play this hand if you pop the turn.

So you play it kinda wrong on two streets (I don't really hate the raise, but you really needed to follow through on this turn once you did) and now you're screwed. Sure looks like a value bet, but hey you have 2 pair, may as well call and probably regret it later. I dunno, this is the problem with getting to the river this way.

Call the flop and wait to raise a blank, since you didn't, bet/fold the turn.

I agree with Mr. Adanthar. You can just call here. PLan to fold to any scare cards on the turn or river. Also, if the turn comes and they start betting heavy, then fold unless you are willing to call an all-in on the river. And I probably would only bet if checked too, maybe not even then.
