depends what your bb/100 is and how much you dislike variance.
I wouldn't play with taht size bankroll.

Never buying in short is over-rated. I'm not a proponent of buying in short, I don't do it now since I am properly rolled for NL50, but I'd rather get in some time with $35 in NL50 than keep grinding at $25 on NL25. You are only going to move up that much quicker.
