D-Rays last year were something ridiculous like +350 against the Yankees in this game. I parlayed the alternate RL with the over and was getting like 13-1 odds or something. Looked pretty good after 4.5...

I had both the game under and the second half under in that UCLA/NWU game. There were 4 touchdowns scored in the last 2:30 including 2 onside kicks returned by UCLA for a touchdown. I think the game total had already gone over before the second onside kick but the second half total hadn't.

Technical fouls in college have two free throws awarded.

You can take some small consolation knowing the moneyline wasn't nearly that high on game day because everyone and their brother who bet Texas did so on the ML. The best available moneyline on game day was something like +210. I ended up with large positions on Texas +7.5 -105 and USC -190 on the moneyline.

my very first sports betting disaster:

freshman year of college I was completely new to sports betting with a roll of ~$50. I randomly bet some 12 team parlay for ~$5 and left for the weekend for a frisbee tournament. When I came back, it turned out my first 11 teams had won, and all I needed was Sea -3.5 vs SF in the sunday night game. I now had $1700 riding on one game with a bankroll of 50! At the half, Sea led 17-0 and we left for the dining hall ecstatic. Somehow the niners came back and were only down 20-19, and seattle had the ball with a chance to just run out the clock. Instead of running out the clock, they handed the ball to shaun alexander, who broke 2 tackles- at this point I'm yelling go! go! go!. . .and was finally brought down at the 5.

game. over.

i believe it was a year or two...had a 12 team parlay with multiple dog moneylines...n i had TB+6.5 n they lost by 7 when tim brown dropped/fumbled a pass at the 15 with like 10-20 seconds left
was a $2 parlay to win like 60,000

And you didnt hedge that? Even if you had like 3 teams left to go, you gotta hedge that sheeeeet.

love the thread

i remember a few years ago (somewhere between 2001 and 2003), i had the mavericks straight up in a game at the lakers, and they were up by around 30 pts when the 4th quarter started, and ended up losing in regulation... i remember the articles at the time saying it was the biggest 4th quarter comeback in nba history, or at least one of them
