2461badugi,

i have a hypothetical question for fourth where you want a raise. let's say you raise the Q4's bet and if the 23 makes it 3 bets

[/ QUOTE ]

Reread the action. 4Q bets, 33 calls, 32 folds and then it's on us. If we were acting in front of the 23 it's not a clear raise. If he calls, it's a marginal raise. But since he's not in the hand anymore at all, it's criminal not to raise.

On the river, I was playing for half the pot and had a very weak low. I was afraid seat 8 might have a better low. That's also why I didn't jam when it got raised.

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you sure you posted the right hand? The only other person that appears to have been going low is the guy that folded on fourth.

In theory, seat 8 could have a low hearts flush draw, but that sure doesn't look likely enough for me to worry about being beat for the low on the river.

This is absurdly unlikely given the dead cards and the way he has played his hand up to the river. Not capping literally every street with Hero's hand is a leak.

I was just taking some of my tournament winnings and donating in the 30/60 game. I don't do badly in stud/8 because other people play it badly. This hand was an interesting lesson.

Guess I didn't push the hand more partly because I had an 8 low, and partly because I didn't want to knock high hands out.

24578 is just about as good as A2346 in this spot.

Yeah, Seats 5 and 6 are the only ones who might have played this hand better than you.

I like to see 4th a lot but if I am reading this right after I limp an 8 completes, a four re-raises, and a 3 calls then I am throwing my hand away.

I would have bet 4th as it seems that the 32 is scared of something.

Definitly raise 5th...you are free-rollin bro!

6th is cool

Given that the guy with the pair of threes has been betting against your board it seems as though he probably has a high hand. I think your low is good enough to put more action in on the river.

I thought of folding 3rd, but I think that is one street where I made the right read.
