Without a better read, I can't rule out that he's going nuts with a worse hand so I'll call. I don't mind the flop raise either--that's a pretty coordinated flop that SB can connect with often.

Why don't you raise a flop from time to time?

I guess it's ok. If you go by the "put him on a hand you beat and call" strategy, it's hard to really come up with anything...AT? I would make an -ev curiosity call, which is something I seldom advocate, but nobody ever donk/3bets with 2pair or set...if he did then good for him but if he played a draw like that then that's good to know too.

Really? Because they should..
A lot of Ax hands check this river, this is a mighty scare card. I think it's correct to bet this river with 2-pair/set to get payed off from the likely pair of aces.

When I played online, it was at party. That site was so big there was no need to mix up my play from time to time. Taking the optimal line every time got the job done. Raising the flop here with this hand is a bad play in a vacuum IMO, and thats why I mentioned it, but I understand that if youre playing at a small site with players that pay attention, once in a while you have to make this suboptimal raise.

ILP929,

From your last post I get the impression that you aren't playing online anymore.. Are you playing live now? Or back to the real world?

Just wonderin'...

Once party closed down, I immediately lined up a part time job working 2 days a week making 20K per year starting in November. I could get a full time job working 40 hours a week, but poker has ruined me forever cuz now i just dont have it in me to work a 40hr week. I am also planning on playing around 20hours a week of live 10-20 poker at my local casino(this is the highest limit available, I would prefer to play 20-40 live). I expect to make around 10-20 dollars per hour in this game, so between my job and live poker I'll make roughly 35K per year. Basically just enough to survive, but not enough to prosper.

As far as online, I am thinking about taking my 10-20/15-30 action to one of these sites: Wpex, fulltilt and Pokerstars. I have very little experience in playing at any of these sites. I have actually never played 10-20 or higher at these sites, but If I can find some soft spots, then I may start to play mostly online again.

Lately Ive kind of been in limbo, as Ive decided to take most of October off from poker to re-evaluate my situation. So the above is my gameplan for now, but im hoping party will come back and things will be back to normal in the near future. Either way I can survive without online poker, but i wont be able to thrive.
