what if we just change the description of B&M to make it clear to people it covers the whole "city scene"?

"B&M Cardrooms and Locations"

Most of what is in BM is about Vegas. I would rather support making a vegas forum and making BM about live hands + decision problems and stuff like that.

Why is this not already covered in B&M?... it would seem that a vegas FAQ sticky there with links to relevant threads would be appropriate.

A well thought out post in TLDR on Vegas, would be another alternative.

Travel & Leisure in the playground didn't really get much interest... so its unlikely that a forum devoted to just Vegas would be successful.

I agree. I first mentioned to DB about a sticky in the Travel forum, but he said that the Travel forum won't be around much longer. I think a sticky in one of the forums you mentioned would be good.

I would be interested in the B&M Mods (JBB & TT) thoughts... if all that's really needed here is some better organization with a good sticky, I would think they would certainly welcome your assistance in putting one together.

Hands should go into a strategy forum...

fwiw, there has already been a suggestion to create a live strategy forums.

Yeah, i was one of the big supporters in the thread that was in ATF. online is completely different than live, especially in bet sizes.

what about vegas covering anything involved with traveling here, poker rooms, all that good stuff, with BM becoming more of a place about dealer problems, decisions, etc.?

I think this is a good idea.

Some quick suggestions:
"Las Vegas & Other Gambling Destinations"
"B&M Casinos & Entertainment"
"Live Poker, Dining, & Entertainment"
"Vegas: Poker Partying & Prostitution"

I don't think any of these are very good, but hopefully this will get the ball rolling for other suggestions"

Mat - It's already kind of like that of course so further clarifying it's intent seems okay to me too.

I just think B&M is kind of a weird forum because it's a combination of 'Vegas/Casino Life' with 'Rules/etiquette in live-casino poker'.

You have some in-depth rules discussions/floor-decisions there right next to discussion of which buffet is best or what shows to see.
And I think some of the Vegas-life type stuff ends up in OOT as well.

I think a seperation with one forum for 'Vegas and Other Gambling Destinations' and 'Live Casino Poker (rules and etiquette)' could be considered.

Again, I don't think B&M is exactly getting overrun with traffic.
But seperating a specific forum where posters can discuss their general Vegas, Tunica, or Atlantic City Q's might have potential as it could tie in such discussions that right now seem to take place in both OOT and B&M.

I'm not an OOT regular though and I am also not 100% convinced my seperation idea is the best for 2+2.

I think B&M ALREADY handles all of this. I'm also a believer of further splintering forums isn't always the wisest thing to do.
