twp,

You sort of seem like you are saying the following:

It is a good bet to make w/ QQ or JJ on the river, therefore it's a good shove to make by ansky with air, therefore you should call.

It seems like you are making a lot of assumptions that are pretty shaky.

I dunno what u guys are saying.

Id fold the river. Flush got there and your line looks like KKK enough that I doubt ansky would run a total bluff on you here. With your river bet it looks like at least a weak ace, so imo he beats a weak ace, and there arent that many hands that beat a weak ace on this board that also lose to KKK. I doubt he would have checked random 2 middle pair on the turn. I fold.

I don't really want to comment too much in this thread for obvious reasons, but, I will say that on the river when I pushed I fully expected a call, from any non bluffing hand. Given the dynamic between me and dlp I thought there was such a slim chance he was folding, given how we were battling a decent amount on all 4 tables and as he said, we were fairly deep (on the other tables, 200-300bb) so there was a lot of reraising and light calling in position etc. etc.

you guys notice the flush draw got there? I think this is a fold.

[/ QUOTE ]

I tanked it forever, and closed my eyes and clicked call, and when I opened them he showed me the J10ss. I think Anskys turn chk in this hand should have clued me in that he did not have an ace or two pair or better.

[/ QUOTE ]

The turn check definitely does not preclude him from having an ace here. But he wouldn't push just an ace here. Still, this is a call: if Ansky plays anything like he says he does he could easily be value pushing a set, straight, or even good two pair here (although I don't think he/most people bluff big here too often).

i am drunk and [censored] up but i disagree. if u dont have reason to believe otherwise, like seen him do v slim shoves etc, there is absolutely no reason to think he's valuepushing worse than flush.
