Re: Am I running bad or did I lose my ability?
Let's see. 47k hands in party poker plus an unkown hands from Paradise's $40/80 game. I've been on Paradise lately which is not compatible with pokertracker. Mostly playing 4 tables there. Plus 1 week of Commerce $100/200 so say another 2,100 hands.
I guess that's well short of 100k hands. Really I was hoping to hear if anybody playing for a ilving has experienced streaks as long or longer than mine. I've heard of a couple others but just trying to get some confirmation. Thanks for all the replies. The cake picture made me feel better. =) |

Re: Am I running bad or did I lose my ability?
Yah dude I broke even first 5 months this year and had moved down from 20/40 and 30/60, and the last 3 months I been running super hot and moved back up. That break even period included lots of ups and downs too. Probably only 40-60k hands though. I only play part time because of work.
If you know you are a winning player what's the problem? BTW, hows your game selection? Ever since I began exercizing game selection I've had a lot better results. Seriously, just because you are rolled for 100/200 live doesnt mean you have to play it. Sometimes the juiciest game is the second biggest game spread in the casino. think about it. |

I also know you talked with one of my friends @ Commerce and from what he said, you played a bit too loosely and were too loose with your calling requirements in the 100/200 there, but that didn't strike me as your game. FWIW, I've had a downswing of ~450BB in the Party 30/60, and you used to play against me a lot -- I'm wtfcentral. Over 100k hands I'm still a ~1bb/100 winner in that game, but the variance is definitely enough to make you sick -- so losing over two straight months doesn't seem that big of a deal to me, especially when you play less hands when you're losing (I know I do).
