Best Italian in town = Name I can't remember nest to Hilton.

[/ QUOTE ] Piero's is the place youre talking about and I agree it is. Get the Osso Buco or Stone Crab. I think Ruth Chris has the best steak in town. And Olives is good but I think they are asses. (I grew up in Vegas and lived there until about 4 years ago, BTW).

responding to a few at once:

irie: i'll be in touch shortly

vinyard: rofl at the rush street triangle area in general, and yes, it's not really all that close to the best place in chicago either. i think lawry's for lunch sometime this week though if you're up for it?

re: le cirque - didn't le cirque ny just close? i never got to eat there, and well, i am 24, it's not like i've eaten everywhere.

re: olives - why can't i ever remember, is olives the one that's like the cafe thing with the view of the fountain or is olives a different one?

more soon, good ideas peeps.

i don't know if that's a joke or not, but i am not going to fly to vegas to eat at a chain restaurant with locations within 3 miles of me.

[/ QUOTE ] And to that point, why eat at Morton's in Chicago when its not close to being one of the five best steakhouses in the city? Its also full of Vaigra-filled septagenaurains and their twenty two year old "model" girlfriends. Jeebus you people suck.

i think they're going to read that incorrectly and think that they should be taking notes on the fact that if they have lots of money and a ferrari they can get 2 hot 20y.o.s even when they're 70. then again, it's possible that's not the wrong thing to take note of.
