Though this could be another thread, I have been involved with these [censored] another time... they weren't compliant.

Although only a temporary solution, I have loud roommates and I sleep during the day because of a strange work schedule. I have a large oscillating fan that I turn on high when I sleep and the white noise is enough to block out all disturbances so I get a good sleep.
