If we still manage to have Stars we'll be doing very, very well.

I really hope they don't roll over. They could make a ton of money if they keep on keeping on. I've just been killing myself with stress waiting for them to make the announcement on whether or not they're bailing.

Please don't bail Poker Stars!!!

They do have a good FPP system that adds up to about 20% "rakeback" depending on how much you play.

Where is this news that we will have Stars?

[ QUOTE ]

Gambling911.com has learned that PartyPoker and PokerStars will likely be following 888.com suit and be pulling out of the US market.

Sources close to both poker rooms have informed Gambling911 that statements should be issued some time Monday from the two firms.

PartyGaming, fearful of its share price tumbling, is expected to announce that it will focus exclusively on the European and Asian markets as well as Canada.

PokerStars reason for pulling is not known at this time since the company does not trade publicly. News regarding PokerStars came from a number of high level internet gambling executives close to the company though no official confirmation has come from PokerStars management itself during the early morning hours Monday.

From here.

Has something newer come out?

I don't think he was saying we have Stars. I think he as well as everyone including me is just hoping that we will still have Stars.

I think another Neteller-like company will emerge... probably based in Antigua (I think Negraneau's name for this company was "Booga Booga"....and I would sign up in a second so I could say "my money is with Booga Booga").

Once such a mechanism is in place (do you doubt there will be?) and there are sites that will accept U.S. residents (we already know there are some)...the market (or 'fish' as you say) will eventually show up (they showed up before they even knew about online poker...now that they know it exists...they won't show up?)
