Chocolate doesnt bother my dog at all. He also ate a whole bag of Hershey's kisses once , aluminum foil and all. He is perfectly healthy now 5 yrs later and I guarantee he would eat more brownies if given the chance.

I had a dog that ate a bag of Hershey's kisses as well. However, that doesn't mean that chocolate isn't toxic to dogs. It is. Milk chocolate isn't really very close to actual chocolate. Had your dog eaten a block of baker's chocolate, for example, it would at least have been a trip to the emergency vet and possible liver failure and death.
