It is there now to download...

Think you have to get to the download page on a MAC to see it...

Wow, there it is. I went to the download page found pretty OSX screenshots showing me the way.

Technical Details : Minimum System Requirements

Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9/10.4 - with latest system updates (Safari 2.0.4 recommended)
Screen resolution of at least 1024x768 pixels with minimum of 256 colors
100 MB of free disk space

(The site's knowledge of your need for Mac instructions, though, doesn't keep it from starting the auto-download of the Windows client.)

This Java client ran like [censored] on my Mac under Safari. Didn't try Firefox because I swore off of the client forever after getting AhKs, floping TPTK, and rivering the nut flush. But wait, I didn't even get to play the hand because the client was so [censored] slow and timed me out preflop. Big 4 way pot (6-max, too, like 20BB or something like that. I probably could have pushed it to 23-25BB.

holy crap, there it is. I just checked this morning and it wasn't there. Wow the power this place has to make things happen

Downloaded it, logged in... ugh a tournament tab but nothing behind it. Guess it's just cash games for now.

I'd have to say that depends on what you mean by "nothing."

If the only alternative were not playing poker at all, sure. But the Internet offers other Mac options, even if not too many.

It's sluggish. I suspect there's Java in it, since Java's kinda sucky, and the Pokerroom Java client wasn't at all happy afterward.

Yeah, I talked to the Mac product manager at Party Poker yesterday as the software went live yesterday morning.

The tournaments will be coming soon. If there is anything you like or dislike please post here so we know!

Oh yeah, Robby was right. If you're not on a Mac you won't see the Mac download .exe.

If you're on anything other than a Mac you get taken to the non-Mac client. So yes, you have to be on a Mac to see what everyone is talking about.
