i called geoff davis' of kentucky's washington office and rambled on to one of his aids. he took down my information and said that he would give him the message.

he also said this was the first he had heard of it.

I called both my senators and the congressman who appeared on the list. Can anybody put up a list of talking points and specific things to mention when talking to the aide? I know jack about government, and just said that I was unhappy that Frist was jeopardizing the defense authorization bill by attaching a totally unrelated internet gambling rider to it.

Also, if I were to continue my phone crusade, who else should I call besides my local guys? Will my voice be heard if I call the armed services committee members from other states?
