4 starters will be out for usc on defense. Lua isn't a big loss, as Magulua is a more talented sophmore who had been pushing for the starting job anyways. Where the trojans are really hurting is their seconday. Two of their starters are out, and it's very possible that Ellison won't make it through the whole game. That's a lot of youth and inexperience in the secondary. I've also read that the oline has been shuffled around due to Byers injury.

Nebraska lost their top cb for the season, and there nickel back in week 1. Callahan won't even say who is going to play the nickel on Saturday. If Jones or Grixby is hurt during the game, Nebraska is in serious trouble. The huskers will also be without their starting center in Mann, which should be a significant blow, although his replacement started last week and looked alright.
