And to induce a bluff. Idk whether my reasoning is good but that's what I would do.

I'd do this too. Flop min-check-raises are usually something big (usually, not always). I'm not that sure that we are ahead on turn so I'd like to catch my [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on river (or as put, induce a bluff from him). I don't really see how we could be ahead on river but what can we do. We are getting enormous odds. I don't really want to make a giantic pot here on turn because basically I have no clue if I'm ahead or not PLUS I have the chance to river nuts.

If we don't bet the turn, we can't get it all in on the river with the nuts.

Kit / Testaaaja, what are your VPIP / PFR / Agg numbers?

True

When he checks again on the turn I doubt he has a big hand.
Unless he has played a lot of limit and wants to go for the trifecta

Didn't really think about this hmm. And as ticks said about the turn checking, it makes me suspicious about the power of his hand. It's total carbage or something like a set IMO most of the time. If he has a set there would he stack off to a flush card? If so I'd say that check would be better. If we bet we are going to lose our stack UI too.

17/13/3.85 over 7k hands of NL50. As for per street agg. 10/4.1/2.3 . I'm trying to open up a little but I'm not going to before I get out of this ugly downswing of mine (yes some bad play there also).

hey testaaja, what is your AIM?

I play about 2x the hands of you, both VPIP and PFR wise but have the same aggression. I think I may get called lighter than you which is a concern I have on this forum due to the differing styles. For instance, maybe they will call me with QJ, but fold KQ to you. This would completely change the situation.

20/16/4 or so. I admit, if you play 28/20 and villain knows this it may affect the decision.

Hand played standard. I'm only checking the turn if I think there is a serious chance of me being bluffed out.

You have to bet the turn for value here. I think this hand was played fine.

On the river he has KQ/JT but wtf can you do?

I would have put this guy all-in on the turn. He only has $74 left in a $65 pot.

I am making the move from limit, and the idea of a plan to get all of an opponents money into the pot is something I am trying to become more comfortable with. This post helps me a lot.
