[ QUOTE ] Hi folks - If you get to Supernova, then yes, you can get just about anything [1] for your FPPs via the concierge service. And even if you're just GoldStar, the Amazon gift certificates are perilously close to cash. We're also looking for more cool items to add to the FPP store, so it will just get better. Best regards, Lee Jones PokerStars Poker Room Manager [1] modulo cash or gold bullion [/ QUOTE ] is there any reason why you don't want to exchange FPPs for cash(even at a rate below your cost for items in the VIP store)? [/ QUOTE ] I'm curious about this as well. Or the ability to purchase bonuses ( like at HP) |

[ QUOTE ] lee can you add computers to the fpp store not just monitors ty [/ QUOTE ] Hey Ronjon - Actually, with the Amazon gift certificates, you can get all kinds of computing power. Just from a brief surf over there... HP Laptops Sony Desktop Just two examples. You can trick out a wicked four-monitor 3+ GHz Dual Core Pentium situation that will allow you to 20-table with the best of 'em. All at Amazon. Best regards, Lee Jones PokerStars Poker Room Manager [/ QUOTE ] Hej Lee, As you perfectly know, only Americans can buy all kind of stuff at Amazon.com. Like only brits can at Amazon.uk and so on. The rest of the world (those that don't live in a country with an Amazon store), has only access to books, dvd and that kind of "less interesting" stuff. So I wish you stopped saying that one can use gift certificates to buy anything one wishes, because it is just not true (or at least be honest and specify that only american customers living in the USA/brits living in GB can). Ther electronic stuff is fine but demanding. New and/or better products arrive every week and the store soon looks out of date if you don't make the product adjustments all the time. If Stars doesn't want to do anything for "the rest of the world" just say so, but please stop mentionning gift cards that are useless to many. In Europe there is a netshop called PIXMANIA. It is french and they deliver all over Europe. Perhaps you could offer their gift certificates to Europeans. That way we could really buy anything we wish in the electronics department. Best wishes, William |

Best wishes, William [/ QUOTE ] pixmania is not great for gift certificate. if you have a 500$ gift certificate and want to buy a 300$ item you will simply lose the remaining 200$. They don't put the remaining $$ in your account (like amazon do) |

Re: Pokerstars VIP
I,m sure they would be willing to change that if they got a contract with a company of PS size. Anyway, it was just a suggestion, I am sure there are other giants out there that could offer many thing to everybody, not just a few lucky ones.

Re: Pokerstars VIP
Keep in mind that Scotty from the VIP store posted that people have purchased $3K Best Buy and Walmart Gift Certificates through the Concierge Service. If you have trouble at Amazon.com, save for this instead.
Lee - for any Concierge questions, ask Scotty, right? |

Re: Pokerstars VIP
If you are a non-American supernova, I'm sure you can get non-American gift certificates through the Concierge.
