I told him to email them but he was too lazy. He just left the site.

His own fault. He should have emailed UB.

I agree he should have emailed them and urged him to on more than one occasion. That doesn't mean it's HIS fault that UB essentially stole his money because they did not want to take the time to fix their mistake, when they obviously had the resources to do so.

They had major issues. I am sure they did the best they could but there were so many problems that some might have been overlooked. I would still email them about them about the issue. I am sure they will take care of the problem even now... I would also request the "real money" transactions from 3/1/06 to today. You can sift through of the lines of data and find the time and date when the issue happened. If you need a hand, I am very familiar with these transactions. I have 40,000+ lines of them from 2003.

Good Luck

I'm not going to email them to try and retreive money that was never mine in the first place. If my friend wants to allow UB to steal from him and in exchange, never play there again, that's his business.

It just makes me wonder what sick amount of money UB made from their crashes, because I'm sure my friend isn't the only person who was too lazy/ignorant/disgusted to bother with the email hassles.

I also forgot to mention their BLATANT delays on numerous cashouts when people tried to withdraw their funds post-crash. They sent out every excuse in the book to people and delayed payments for weeks on end.

Copy and paste my post to your friend in an email.

As for UB's delay in cashouts... I am not sure if it was blantant or not. It seems like a conspiracy theory to me without proof. What did UB have to gain in delaying the cashouts? I believe they had zero to gain. It only hurt them in the long run with players leaving the site. With that, I believe their issues were legit and very serious with their upgrade.

It wasn't a conspiracy theory, people on this board were discussing it and sharing horror stories every day. I don't think it's a matter of them of them having something to gain as much as it is one of them not having enough money on hand to cash everyone out.

They had plenty to gain if they didn't have the cash to make good on the requested withdrawls.

I can see your point, but what I am saying is that this is all speculation. If you have proof that they didnt have the funds to pay everyone out, then share it with the rest of us. I think all anyone can say without the proof is that the upgrade was a big failure and took several weeks for them to resolve. What more can anyone say?

The one thing an online casino should not do is mess with their player's funds. Especially a place like UB which will take 10k deposits at a whim and then routinely hold cashouts for up to 72 hours. That whole software meltdown and me having a bunch of money in limbo for like 10 days pretty much killed my interest in playing there.

Not to mention, the games just aren't that great. IMO.

There would never be proof. The part I found disturbing, was the delays in responding to customer emails.

The incidents to point to a cash flow problem are the following:

Delays in Cashouts.
Numerous amounts of bonus offered during and just after the server crisis.
No hiring temporary help to answer emails in a timley matter.
Not testing a major backend upgrade on an independant server.
