I started out playing on UB, mainly because I liked their user interface. As my game improved, I looked around at other sites and ended up play more at PP and PS. I hadn't played on UB for a year a so, but still had money over there so decided to play a few hands and see what was going on. I was stunned at what I found. Now, this was a weeknight, but only about 7pm PST. About a dozen tables at NL micro limits and probably 1 10 seat table at each limit level. What's going on? Has there really been that much of a shift of players?

That's what happens when a site crashes for days on end and then never refunds money that was "frozen" on the tables unless you wrote tham and asked for it (and waited for weeks for them to sort it out). A friend of mine was in 3 SNGs during one of the crashes and they never made any effort to repay him. I told him to email them but he was too lazy. He just left the site.

all the high stakes games moved to FT, which also brought a lot of the low limit players who like to watch the games (and who will switch to FT as well).

Sorry, this graph looks like [censored], but I can't be bothered to go back and edit the settings now that I've resized the screenshot and stuff. This goes back to Apr 28th this year. I got the data from http://www.pokersitescout.com/index.asp

Here's a better one, only includes Wednesday's datapoints, so it's smoother:

Constantly closing games "for software updates" and a bonus that clears slower than the second coming, sucks.
