You're only counting outs on hitting the flush card on the turn. We're seeing the river with this hand, no matter what, so we can use our winning chances keeping in mind that we have 2 cards to come. On the flop we're only a 1.8:1 dog to hit our flush by the river: roughly 35%. Add our pair outs in and backdoor straights and our equity on the flop could be as high as 40%.

That's why many people's flop aggression is so high, because they're pushing flush draws and OESD w/ many in the pot, etc, as well as TP hands and such, all for value. I had something else informative to add, but my mind just shut down. Bed time. As far as the hand goes, flop raise good, turn raise baaaad.

Thanks for all the input...I'll watch the turn aggressiveness. Looking back on it, the turn raise seems stupid to me too. Got a little too carried away trying to make the transition to 6max.
