[/ QUOTE ] That's what I did. I got raised on the turn, called and got lucky on the river. I had been behind to two pair. [/ QUOTE ] Baluga theorem - when you get C/R on the turn, TPTK is no good. This would apply especially well to the board in your example.

definitely check the turn. it's so bad to bet the turn because you will never know where you are at in a swelled pot. [/ QUOTE ] Can you explain how checking the turn helps you understand where you are at in comparison to the villian? I don't think I'm getting this concept.
